Today, while I was doing laundry, my loving and adorable 5-year-old son turned to me and said…
“Why are you getting fat?”

Not to be a total downer, but… I’m seriously on the verge of a nervous breakdown. EVERYTHING is going wrong.
Want an example? Well, ok. In about 10 minutes I’m going to go downstairs to a meeting with my landlord and find out if I’m going to be evicted. Wicked, right?
Can someone recommend me some good music to drown yourself in a bathtub to?
Gah. OK, wish me luck.
If you’re evicted…come live in my old room! Dundas and Mccaul, $500/mo, all inclusive, no lease, no evictions
I just saw this. I hid from the internetz after that awful day. You are the sweetest ever!

People always say Canadians have accents.
Do…. do we?
Yeah we do. I do at least. But maybe thats because I’m from prince…
I’m from Ontario and I can hear my Canadian accent in certain words like about, house, sorry and orange.
Among others..
I never thought I did, but my American friends have told me otherwise. I’ve also been told by some Toronto friends that I take on a strong American accent when I’m drunk. How is that even possible?

Oh, hey. It’s almost 3 in the morning and I am very very wide awake. That’s sort of problematic for me, as I have the busiest day EVAR tomorrow.
My alarm is set for 6 am. 3 hours and 15 mins until I’m supposed to get up. And I CANNOT sleep through it… I have to get ready, drop the small fry off at daycare, and head to the far east end of the city for an appointment. From there, I need to head across to midtown for a meeting at 2 pm. It’s a long trek. After that meeting, I have another meeting in the west end at 3:30, and then a final meeting on the Danforth (another long haul) at 5 pm.
Then, I need to be back at my apartment by 7 pm to babysit my friend’s son overnight, which means I need to have SOME energy left… So I should probably NOT pull an all-nighter in order to ensure that I’m at my meetings on time. After she gets him in the morning, I’m heading to Woofstock (www.woofstock.ca), and then spending the evening with the boyfriend. Sunday I have to have a website ready for a client, and Sunday night I’m making a guest appearance on a friend’s radio show.
So basically, I’m ending the week with the busiest weekend ever, and next week is looking like it’s going to be just as hectic. Actually, scratch that. Basically, the entire remainder of the month is looking like it’s going to be swamped.
I am going to be exhausted by the start of July. Especially if this not-being-able-to-sleep bullshit keeps up.

I am attempting to be as productive as possible in the least amount of time possible, because I have more things to do than I have time for.
Right now, there are cupcakes in the oven. As they bake, I’ve made my bed and vaccuumed the floor. While I wait for them to cool, I’ll separate the laundry and throw it in the washers downstairs. Ice cupcakes and then put in second batch. Move laundry to dryer, clean out the fridge. Let cupcakes cool. Wash the dishes. Ice cupcakes. See how I’m being awesome and planning out what to do?
Then there’s like 80 other things on my list, including client websites, phone calls, getting stuff out of my storage locker, updating my calendar, cleaning the bathroom, and much much more.
The remainder of my week is filled with client meetings, appointments, and more client work. June is off to a pretty hectic start, and there’s so much more coming up…

I just used some Neutrogena spray-on tan. It filled the bathroom and now my mouth tastes like chemical. Gross.
I hope I am not orange when I wake up.
